City of Melville
This is a backdrop that I painted for the City of Melville's Little Hands Festival 2013. The backdrop was painted in UV paint and situated in a marquee with daylight blocked out to provide a fluorescent effect. The participants made forest creatures from fluorescent materials and placed them on an enchanted 3-dimensional tree.
Awesome Arts Creative Challenge
The Remix Creative Challenge was a regional residency program, held in remote and regional West Australian community. The program encouraged young people to appreciate and understand their individual and collective identity through the exploration and expression of the uniqueness of their local community. I participated in the 2 week residency and worked with young people to create art from found objects and throw away items.
